The two episodes that bookend my hopes & dreams for Fitz and Olivia is Season one, Episode seven when Fitz declares he’ll resign as president…why because the man who is not president can have a life…a life with the woman he loves. The other side of that coin is from Season two, episode thirteen…Fitz lets Olivia know his marriage is over with and he’s determined to divorce Mellie…even if Olivia marries Edison, Fitz is still getting a divorce…consequences be damned. Fitz is a man in love. He’s sailing/drowning/swimming/listing in an ocean of love for Olivia. And these two scenes just show how deeply in love he is.
